Donation of MinXray from the Qure.ai MinXray Team

The KNCV Nigeria management received a donation from the MinXray Qure.ai team. Illinois, USA.

In addition to the Delft-Light Backpack DLB, a miniature digital X-ray machine equipped with Computer Aided Detection Software (Artificial intelligence (AI)) for Tuberculosis used for on-the-spot pre-diagnostic TB screening are other portable digital x-rays that operate with AI. The KNCV management received a donation of such an x-ray, the MinXray, a wireless portable digital X-ray with Artificial Intelligence from the  MinXray Qure.ai team, Illinois USA.

As a company that is passionate about AI’s role in the diagnostics pathway, the MinXray Director of Global Health and Military sales, Michael Cairni with the Qure.ai Vice President of Business Development – Global Health, Dara kellerha while in Nigeria to support an ongoing project with Janna Health were received by KNCV Nigeria and told about our ground-breaking innovations in TB Case finding and explored areas of collaboration. Following that visit, the team was back in Nigeria to make a donation of a unit of  MinXray to the KNCV management.  

The KNCV ED Dr. Bethrand Odume appreciated the team for the donation of the MinXray which would support KNCV Nigeria in the ongoing scale-up of targeted community TB case finding.
